We tailor our jobs to suit the unique needs of skilled Seniors and Retirees. Flexible schedules, part time and contract work comprise a large part of the jobs we list. We work closely with employers to ensure that the jobs they post are well suited for Seniors
How much does it cost to use Twilight Careers?
Job Seekers can post profiles, view our resource pages and search for jobs for free. Employers wishing to access profiles and post job listings are charged a nominal amount based on the size of company and number of postings.
How does Twilight Careers make money?
Twilight Careers is free for job seekers. Employers pay to post open positions and access our worker profiles. Twilight Careers also charges advertisers to deliver messages about products and services which may be of interest to senior employees.
Why should I register with Twilight Careers?
As a job seekers you can search our job listings without registering, but in order to contact companies or submit your resume, you will need to create an account. Registering also tells Twilight Careers what types of jobs you are interested in, which allows us to serve you better. There is no cost to create an account and all information will be kept confidential in accordance with our privacy policy.
Can I Control who sees my Profile?
YES. Twilight Careers focuses on Privacy. No employer will see your Personal or Work Profiles or resume without your authorization. You Control who you want to have access to your personal information. Your information will NOT be sold to anyone.
Can I use the site without an e-mail address?
NO. All contact with employers is made through e-mail. If you don't have an e-mail address, you can set up one easily through aol, gmail or yahoo.
Who do I contact if I have questions?
Both seniors and employers should send their questions to info@twlightcareers.com. Our staff will respond as soon as possible.
What if I forget my password?
If you forget your password, click the "Forgotten your Password?" link on the login page, then enter your email address (the one you use for Twilight Careers) in the field on the Forgot my Password page, and click Submit. Your password will be emailed to you.
How do I add my resume to my Profile?
On the second step of your Experience Profile, there is a button at the bottom that says, "Provide a Resume (Optional)" Click this button and another window will pop up. Click the Browse... button in this window, and a window will open which will allow you to find your resume on your computer. Once you have selected your resume from your computer, click the Upload button in the Upload your Resume window. Your resume will upload to Twilight Careers (the upload may take a minute), and will be attached to your Experience Profile.
How do I update my information?
You are able to change your password on the main Home page after you login, with the Change password link. You can change all your other information EXCEPT your name and email address in the Edit your Experience Profile section. To change your name and/or email address, email Twilight Careers support and they will be able to change that for you.
How long will my job be listed on Twilight Careers?
Job listings on Twilight Careers will run for 30 days.
Will I be invoiced for my Job Listing?
Employers will be charged a fee to post a Job Listing. This fee will be collected before the Job Listing can be posted, so there is no need for invoicing. Seniors will NOT be charged a fee for anything in Twilight Careers, Twilight Careers is completely free for Seniors to use.
How do I apply for a Job Listing?
First, enter the Job Search page by clicking the "Job Search" link on the menu bar. Once there, you can browse the available jobs in Twilight Careers. When you find a job you're interested in, click the Job Headline. This will take you to a page with detailed information on that job. If you'd like to apply for that job, click the "Apply Online" button. This will open an email-like interface. You'll need to write some sort of introductory text in the large Cover Letter box, introducing yourself and announcing your interest in the job. Once you're ready, click the Send Application button on this page, which will take you to a summary page, letting you know that your application was sent to the employer. If the employer is interested, they will respond to you via email to your email address on file with Twilight Careers.
